Bitcoin OSX Users: Quick Address Tip

Just in case the other OSX bitcoiners didn't know about this; if you go into Preferences>Keyboard>Text you can set up keyboard shortcuts for all your bitcoin addresses to make it easier to send or receive BTC.
Even better; if you have iCloud set up this will seamlessly sync across all your iDevices so you can quickly enter your Bitcoin addresses, and also be sure that there won't be any errors.
Even better, you can have +bitcointip set as BCtip or similar so you can quickly send tips on reddit even when you're in AlienBlue :)
Disclaimer: I don't care if other people prefer android, windows or whatever. Not here to start a flame war, just trying to be helpful. Peace and love for all, yo.

Easiest website (or software for OSX) to trade bitcoin?

I have been interested in bitcoin for a while now and I think it’s time to jump in. I want to keep a little bit aside so I thought a wallet on blockchain would be good? What about for trading purposes?

Does Bitcoin Core now ask to access your Calendar and Contacts List on OSX?

I just downloaded the latest version of Bitcoin Core on OSX Mojave and it asks to access my calendar and contacts list. This seems kind of strange to me, so I just wanted to confirm that this is normal behavior / that I didn't install something nefarious. If this is normal behavior, why exactly does Bitcoin Core want access to this stuff?
Thanks

What are the best online wallets?

I understand that best practices say to keep the bulk of assets in a cold wallet. I have already taken measures to do this. I would also like an online wallet for smaller amounts so they can be readily available but still safer than on an exchange. I have researched a few but would also like suggestions if anyone is willing. Thanks.

Bitcoin Core v0.14.0 with SegWit as UASF (BIP148) for OSX [please read carefully!]

Check the signed version of this post (reddit is fucking up the formatting):
https://pastebin.com/xUbnDd25
DISCLAIMER: I strongly recommend you not to trust me and compile your own binaries instead! If you choose to trust me, don't run the full node as a wallet.
I've seen requests online for UASF binaries so I compiled UASF source on my MacBook Pro. Sorry, I can't compile for Linux (my RPi3 is too slow for that) or Windows (I don't have any).
Source:
https://github.com/UASF/bitcoin
Link to binaries:
https://github.com/FreedomNode/bitcoin/releases/tag/0.14.0-UASF-BIP148-v3
Make sure to check sha256 checksums of files. SHA256sums.asc is signed with a public key of my Bitcoin-related project:
https://freedomnode.com/key.asc
This Reddit post is signed with my personal public key:

I'm disclosing my personal information to make myself at least a bit more trustworthy. You can google basically anything about me using my real name.
tldr; compiled OSX binaries of Bitcoin Core v0.14.0 with UASF.
// edit: I've compiled new binaries from a new source that actually enforces BIP148. Thanks to cacheson for pointing that out.

Question about running a full node on OSX using Bitcoin Core

Just wondering. We have a low volume, in-house (used only on the local network) Mac Mini server at work. It is connected to the internet, but the "serving" aspect is only for computers inside the building. It's just running a standard OSX install, not OSX Server.
Can I create a new user account (Let's say called "bitcoin") on that machine and leave both the "Server" user and "Bitcoin" user logged in simultaneously? That way I could have the Bitcoin core app running as a full node correct? (with the router forwarding port 8333 to that machine)
Keeping the bitcoin stuff on one user, and the server stuff on another I could make sure no one messes with the bitcoin side, but the leave the "server" user side open so that stuff could still be fiddled with should need be? Right now it's just set up as one user, everyone logs into it using that user ("Server") to store files on it or pull files off. It's a small workplace with only about 6 people accessing the machine. I'd just want to separate the Bitcoin and server users because while I'm not worried about people messing with the video storage side of things, (it's a edit shop) I would worry about someone quitting Bitcoin Core by accident.
We have symmetrical gigabit fiber at work, with no caps.

In my previous post on bitcoin mining using Mac OS X, I discussed what is in my opinion the easiest way to get your toes wet with mining: BitMinter.BitMinter is a great bitcoin mining pool and its Java based miner makes it very simple to try out bitcoin mining on Mac OS X using your graphics card to calculate hashes.. And while I’m a fan of the BitMinter pool, the mining software – though Bitcoin or BCH, Ethereum or Ethereum Classic, you can switch on the go if one coin becomes more profitable than another. Change miner configurations all at once, there’s no need to painstakingly change individual settings. Change mining pools. The best Bitcoin mining software can run on almost any operating system, such as OSX, Windows, Linux, and has even been ported to work on a Raspberry Pi with some modifications for drivers depending on your mining setup.
