Arbitrage.is IS A SCAM!!!

Hey people
Word of advice to all: the website arbitrage.is is an Indian ran Ponzi scheme/scam.
Do not send them your crypto! All the negative reviews posted on that site disappear within seconds. Look them up on trustpilot.com and save you bitcoin.
Spread the word and help take these scumbags down. Karma will bend them over

How I earn a Full-time income online + Offers & More

So first start by saying I have "Real" Online work but it requires me to work about 30 mins a day... I work on this other stuff 8-10 hours a day and earn a full-time income alone from this stuff alone...
I'm not including any affiliate signs ups I get when I say earning a living from this
I highly advise you get a cheap Laptop to work on... You cant use your phone ( for the work stuff )
I would recommend something like a Thinkpad 430i, I'm pretty sure I bought one for £85 as I needed a cheap laptop for something else and its been solid
normally they come with dud batteries, You can find a replacement HERE
Appen | non-ref ( I will get $25 if you work I think its 100 hours )
Neevo
Clickworker | non-Ref ( I will get 5 when you earn 10 )
Prolific.co
Populus Live
GG2U $1 Bonus | non-ref ( No Bonus ) - I will get 5% of what you earn
Timebucks(I think $1 bonus) | Non-Ref ( No Bonus ) - I will earn 15% of what you earn

Panelbase - Sign up HERE ( Quidco £10 Bonus )| Non- Ref ( No Bonus ) - Quidco will pay you £0.80p to sign up and if you sign up through my link you will also get a £10 bonus on Quidco when you reach £5 cashback
Some decent surveys on here, I normally check and do them when they are over £1

I mainly focus my time on Appen, If there is no work on Appen then I will see if there are tasks on Neevo if not then I move to the other sites... I only use the lower-paying survey sites when I have nothing else to do
I still do have something that guaranteed you money regardless, So even if I have a slow do saying this there is no pressure because my other work is there. This past week happen has been slow for me but I was able to smash out thousands of tasks on Neevo which made that up
-----
Here is also some good offers on a few different sites, They should be the highest paying for that offer

----
Swagbucks - REF ( Around £4 BONUS ) | NON-REF ( NO BONUS )
To get the £4 bonus you need to earn 300SB in your first month, Since the offers at the bottom I would do the two offers listed, Then make the rest up by doing 3/4 Surveys but other than this please do not waste your time on Swagbucks doing surveys, I only do them if to complete swago or if they are pretty high paying.
AyeT- CyberGhost VPN Free Trial - 54SB
Adgem - Norton VPN Free Trial - 63SB
100SB Bonus - Install the Swagbutton
Rise of Kingdoms - 4000SB - Get to hall Level 17
Lottoland - 1300SB - Click the offer and it will take you to the sign-up and will cost £1 ( Make sure auto-renewal isn't on )

Normally the Gala offers pay higher but none of them are available anywhere, Normally pay around £40, on TCB or Quidco but they have no offers right now for them
---
Ysense - REF( Don't think there is a bonus |NON - REF
Click Offers, Then Offertory
Final Fantasy 100K Power - $10.16. I did this before and I spent £1 and completed really quickly, It was an XP reward I bought, It gave millions of Hero XP which gave enough power
I highly advise you don't waste time on this site doing surveys
----
Lionbridge - Like happen but this is more strict and I also found Appen paid more for the Project I am on.
Teamwork- Like Appen and Lionbridge, I have done some work for them in the past everything was fine and paid on time.
Apple at Home Advisor - Work at home Advisor for Apple. Pretty sure they send you an iMac to work on tho I could be wrong
Pretty sure Amazon has remote work also. If you google a company and then "Remote" or at home, It should let you see if they have work
-
I had these 3 on a list Its transcription work but Appen, Lionbridge, and Teamwork offer this and probably best going for them.

Sites/Apps that are legit + my thoughts on them
Swagbucks ( Around £4 Bonus ) | non-ref ( No Bonus )
I only do offers on here but I always check other sites before doing them to see if better paying elsewhere and I do swago when it comes up - Do not do surveys unless they are offering a few £ as they normally DQ - Only do Offers, Don't waste your time on anything else
Serpclix| non-ref
You install the plugin and it pops up with a task to search for a website... I barely use it but I would say its worth using for some extra cash ( Some users say £10-£30 a month on here )
Branded Surveys| non-ref
Had a few payouts, Too many DQ would avoid unless nothing else
Life Points
Had some decent paying surveys, But too many DQ.. I would personally avoid
Qmee ( 50p Bonus ) | non-ref ( No Bonus )
In my opinion, it's not worth the time, I do probably 1 or 2 surveys per week and I only touch the ones 75p + unless they take to long... I don't think you should focus anytime on it unless you have nothing else.
Ysense
Don't waste your time, I listed an offer for it above other than them offers.. Don't bother, People only want sign-ups to this cause they pay like 15% of earnings and I think around £5 when someone reached a certain amount
SliceThePie- Don't bother, Its clearly about 10p an hour
HoneyGain ($5 Bonus I think ) | Non- Ref ( No Bonus )
It uses your unused internet in the background, it's perfectly safe personally for me I've not had much luck but it comes down to location and how many devices you are using
20Cogs ( £20 Bonus on cashout ) | Non-ref ( No Bonus )
This is legit but most offers do pay better elsewhere and you need to hit 20 confirmed cogs before they payout, I have done offers on here and have my 20cogs pending but make sure you always check other sites to make sure you are getting the most amount of profit... I mostly do offers on here that I have not seen anywhere else.
PrizeRebel - Don't waste your time.
Microworkers - Can pay decent if you can rattle off some fast task but - Its a pain to get paid, Customer service pretty much ignores you and a lot of the jobs and links are sketchy as hell
---
I know nothing about this stuff but you can also teach English online and get paid for it. You might need an ESL certificate. The pay is pretty decent if you can get work If this is something you are interested in I highly advise you do some research for it because its decent work
vipkid- Teach English to kids online, If you want to find more I would advise you to look through Reddit as a lot of users on here use this for work, There are more sites than just this that you can work for, I think they pay from $15-$25 per hour.
QKid- Same as vipkid teaching English online- I think this pays up to $20 per hour
gogokid- Teach English Online $14-25 per hour
There will be more sites than this but these are the ones I know of.
----
Amazon FBA
I don't recommend you bring crap in from china there is enough of that,,, My advise would start small, Start by Buying stock from Supermarkets or other online retailers this is called retail arbitrage and then sending that in but make sure you are allowed to sell in that category, also if your going down the video game route that you sell Used video games and older back catalog titles as these hold higher profit margins than new stock, Lego, Toys, etc are good things to keep an eye out for you can also look for this sort of stuff on the Facebook market place
There is very little profit in new stock unless you can pick it up and most of the time you'd be selling at a loss because the big retailers can sell it for the price you buy it
Use Amazons courier ( they use ups) it's like £5 to send in a 15KG Box
Get the hang of it to figure out what works for YOU! Don't follow anyone on youtube and what they say to do... Of course, if you want to make serious money which you can do, You will need to get suppliers, etc but no one will tell you where to get these, and the ones found easily through google search will make you very little if any money using... Here is also some things I recommend using ( I use them or have used them )
Barcode Scanner ( I only use my PC so need scanner )
Barcode Scanner With Stand
Epson XP-3100
FBA Labels
Bags - I use a mixture of different one but these are fine for smaller things.
You don't need to buy the best printer or anything like that these work perfectly fine... You only need that stuff if you're doing thousands of labels per day
As I said before, Don't be scared to try this its actually pretty fun and can make good money just please people on youtube UK and US, Try it see what works for you
Also Amazon handmade but I still think Facebook is a great way to start selling handmade stuff ( if its quality )
-
Gambling
First, I recommend you don't touch anything to do with this stuff if you have any mental health problems, feel lonely, etc this can ruin your life if you go off the deep end
Matched Betting - You can make good money from this and I think everyone should do it, It's not complicated once you get the hang of it but don't use Profit Accumulator or the other one that charges £17 a month, in my opinion, it isn't worth it ... You could use something like Team Profit to get the hang of it and then take the £1 profit accumulator trial then get more info from there but cancel before the £17 month
The more money you have to do this the more you're going to make, It can be pretty slow if you are starting with a low amount of money but when you're doing these, Make sure you check cashback sites or offerwalls to see if they will pay you for signing up
People promote PA because they have a good affiliate program

Gambling CPA/RS
This is different and you need a website or social media platform, You would have deals with the casinos, Bookmakers, etc But the money, if you get it right, is absolutely ridiculous... This is why you see these guys on youtube spinning such high amount of cash on the casino, If you are good at building sites or have a boatload of cash to chuck at this
You would post them and when people sign up through your link you could be on CPA ( Cost per Acquisition ) RS= Revenue share, So you would get % of a player losses or you could be on a hybrid
This money is life-changing if you get it right but since there is so much cash it is not easy... These sites are spending 10s of thousands a month to be at the top search results.
----

Cashback Websites
JoinHoney | non-ref - Saves you money by searching for coupon codes, I place a monthly order on a website and it saves me between 20-40 each time, Well worth installing when you shop online
TopCashBack (£5 Bonus ) | nonref ( No Bonus )
£5 Bonus once you reach £10 payable cashback, I listed some good deals at the top of the post ( Check yourself for more on the site ) Also can save money when shopping online
Quidco (£10 Bonus) |non-ref ( No bonus )
You get the £10 bonus once you reach £5 cashback, Same as top cashback... Some offers listed above and you can also get cashback shopping online
--
My favorite Offer
Xendpay (£10 Bonus | non-ref( No bonus )
Sign up and Verify your account, Make a transfer of £100 and you will get £10 free.. You can just transfer the money to yourself but you will need an account that takes euros as you need to send £ to euro
-
Before you sign up to an offer on this sub, Please check on cashback sites to see if they pay more than a ref link, Example is the Azimo link it has been posted on this sub on the past few days, You only get £10 from that but you will get £25 through Quidco + £10 bonus if you are new to the site
There is also a scam that's posted a lot on Reddit, They claim to pay you $25 to sign up then $25 per person you sign up, This is a scam they go by a few different names sites all look the same with the same fake payouts
I hope this helps someone out.

Anyone tried Prance Gold? Is it an MLM company?

Hey guys!
I came across this company, Prance Gold, and was wondering if anyone had tried the platform? I’m just doing a bit of research because I have experienced in some cryptocurrency MLM niche and just making sure that this isn’t what it is.
Here’s what I found out so far:
  1. From the website, they advertise their 7-hour investment return and this is what sparked my interest for the site. For me this shows that my money won’t be locked-in for a long time.
  2. To earn money for your investment, it operates using an algorithm for its crypto arbitrage. According to the site “Prance Gold Algorithm (PGA) is the highly coveted cutting-edge trading algorithm system developed for high speed triple-directional arbitrage trading on various cryptocurrency exchanges.” I think this is a good thing because a bot does the trade for you, no need to manually do it. Saves a hell lot of time.
  3. It accepts cash and bitcoin which is good for people who want to try crypto trading but doesn’t know how.
From what I found out so far, it’s pretty great and no sign of MLM. What about your experience guys?
Btw, this is the site and where I found all the info I mentioned above.

Arbia.io bitcoin arbitrage scam

Hi to everyone,
a friend told me that he "invested" come bitcoin in a website arbia.io which promise high returns by doing artificial intelligence driven arbitrage on several centralized exchange. Unfortunately he is not able to withdraw anymore his bitcoin and he probably lost them forever. The website is obviously without any precise contact, financial authorization or referring to any legal entity.
Still there is people sending Bitcoin to these scam sites :-(.
Always be suspicious when a website is promising EASY MONEY and especially for cryptocurrency always remember: NOT YOUR KEYS, NOT YOUR COINS.

Russian And Finland Exchanges - Top Choice For Illegal Bitcoin Activities

Russian And Finland Exchanges - Top Choice For Illegal Bitcoin Activities

The Two Countries Reported 5,23% And 12,01% Of All Bitcoin Received From Illicit Actions, Respectively
CipherTrace, a blockchain analytics company, published a report, stating that Finland and Russia have become hotspots for hiding illicitly acquired cryptocurrencies.
According to the Cryptocurrency Crime and Anti-Money Laundering report by CypherTrace, since the start of 2020 approximately $1,36 billion worth of cryptocurrencies were stolen, or a result of hacking of fraudulent behavior. However, the company noted that the amount is still below 2019’s $4.5 billion total.
„Three years in a row Finland ranks as the #1 place to store criminal BTC. Local cryptocurrency exchange LocalBitcoins, which is one of the largest P2P exchanges to date, accounts for 99 percent of the total illicitly acquired BTC in Finland.”, the report states.

https://preview.redd.it/56v53ap7qo351.png?width=978&format=png&auto=webp&s=d22710d543f2e0dbdabe38186975d0cb3fee9c35
The report found an interesting link between crypto frauds and the recent COVID-19 virus outbreak. According to CipherTrace, the lockdown created an opportunity for large-scale phishing, as criminals lured victims directly in messenger platforms, requesting Bitcoin payments.
One of the mostly-traded crypto resources during the COVID-19 months were COVID-19 phishing sites, the report states.
The second-largest country in popularity, Russia, marked a 5,23% market share of all illicitly-obtained crypto funds. Over 86% of the criminal BTC in Russia came from the Russian Dark Web marketplace, Hydra Market.
Crypto exchanges in the United Kingdom ranked third in the country list. Interestingly, 31,2 percent of all U.K. transactions also came from Hydra Market. However, the numbers are down from 2018, where 57,6 percent of all illicitly-acquired crypto funds in the United Kingdom came from Hydra Market.
Further in the report, CipherTrace recorded 74% of all Bitcoin moved between exchanges is cross-border. The analytics company noted how important it is to have proper AML/CTF standards, like those of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). It turns out criminals utilize the differences between regulatory compliance in jurisdictions to place arbitrages.

Gambling CPA/RS
This is different and you need a website or social media platform, You would have deals with the casinos, Bookmakers, etc But the money, if you get it right, is absolutely ridiculous... This is why you see these guys on youtube spinning such high amount of cash, If you are good at building sites or have a boatload of cash to chuck at this
You would post them and when people sign up through your link you could be on CPA ( Cost per Acquisition ) RS= Revenue share, So you would get % of a player losses or you could be on a hybrid
This money is life-changing if you get it right but since there is so much cash it is not easy... These sites are spending 10s of thousands a month to be at the top search results.

Things I would avoid
Rebate Websites, Lazybucks (They use your personal Facebook and run ads)
There is also a scam that's posted a lot on Reddit, They claim to pay you $25 to sign up then $25 per person you sign up, This is a scam they go by a few different names sites all look the same with the same fake payouts
I hope this helps someone out.

My thoughts

There has been too much negativity and FUD recently, so I thought I'd share some of my own thoughts.
Colin and I have been friends since 2016. We're both skilled and sought after developers within our respective spheres of influence. Colin used to float the idea of me helping him with things related to his cryptocurrency project since probably the first week we met. I'll be honest: at the time I thought it was just a cute pet project of his and — while really intellectually intriguing for me — I had very little available bandwidth to take on another project as the leader of my own small team within a startup. RaiBlocks, as it was known at the time, continued to be something on my “when I have free time” list.
That was until early December 2017. Now, many of you might associate that month with the astronomical growth of the “price” but to me it represents something completely different. I had discussed with Colin almost a year prior outlandish ideas I had for an “index fund” of cryptocurrencies that I had begun to explore. It was to be a completely automated, managed solution for people interested in cryptocurrencies without the time to commit to researching the market themselves. To support a friend, I asked Colin if I could buy some RaiBlocks from him directly to add to a test fund I was starting. Unbeknownst to me at the same time, Bitcoin transactions were taking hours and fees were approaching $20 per transaction for the kind of transactions I was attempting. That was simply unacceptable for the business model I was attempting to target. Before Colin could type out “sent” it was in my account.
It was at that moment I realised: Why isn't literally everybody using RaiBlocks for arbitrage? Why would anybody use any crypto other than RaiBlocks for everyday transactions? Why isn't every goddamn crypto news site talking about how RaiBlocks turns the entire industry on its head!?
The next day I asked Colin what I could do for the team.
Let me set the stage for you: RaiBlocks, one wallet (the Qt wallet), the old website (raiblocks.net), and the old Reddit (/raiblocks). That was the entirety of the RaiBlocks community at the time. When Colin and I originally began brainstorming where I could insert myself to benefit the community the most, Colin was adamant that the most important thing was for there to be a more user-friendly wallet. Remember, this was before anything else existed other than the Qt wallet. It was with that direction that I set off to create a more user-friendly alternative to the Qt wallet in January.
Despite some hiccups, within six months the team was able to develop and launch three completely separate codebases for three completely different platforms while working on a myriad of other things at the same time. Some people are dissatisfied with these wallets — which is fine. YOU HAVE CHOICE.
Nano now has 6+ high-quality wallets available TODAY. Take your pick! How many projects even have more than one wallet? There are some projects with a higher market cap than Nano with no wallet! Speaking of market cap...
https://i.imgur.com/ZHJQult.png
Do you think Nano's market cap deserves to be at least as big as Dogecoin's market cap? Do you believe it deserves to be beneath Bitcoin Diamond? Beneath Verge!? If not, then you should feel confident that the market is just completely bonkers right now.
There is no other project out there right now with the unique qualities of Nano or the caliber of our team. I truly believe that or I wouldn't be doing this. I also controversially believe there's only a small handful of cryptocurrencies that even have a real world use case or a reason to exist and Nano is one of them, but I digress...
Ask yourself: what exists today? I'm not interested in what's being planned or might exist in the future I'm asking what exists now? What can I use TODAY?
I need Nano to succeed because of what I can build on it, not because of what I can sell it for.
If you believe in the technology, the team, the community and what we can accomplish together then don't let FUD rule your life.
My opinions do not necessarily represent the views or positions of the Nano Core Team, the Nano Foundation or Nano Wallet Company and are solely and entirely my own.

⚡ Lightning FAQs ⚡

If you can answer please PM me and include source if possible. Feel free to help keep these answers up to date and as brief but correct as possible
Is Lightning Bitcoin?
Yes. You pick a peer and after some setup, create a bitcoin transaction to fund the lightning channel; it’ll then take another transaction to close it and release your funds. You and your peer always hold a bitcoin transaction to get your funds whenever you want: just broadcast to the blockchain like normal. In other words, you and your peer create a shared account, and then use Lightning to securely negotiate who gets how much from that shared account, without waiting for the bitcoin blockchain.
Is the Lightning Network open source?
Yes, Lightning is open source. Anyone can review the code (in the same way as the bitcoin code)
Who owns and controls the Lightning Network?
Similar to the bitcoin network, no one will ever own or control the Lightning Network. The code is open source and free for anyone to download and review. Anyone can run a node and be part of the network.
I’ve heard that Lightning transactions are happening “off-chain”…Does that mean that my bitcoin will be removed from the blockchain?
No, your bitcoin will never leave the blockchain. Instead your bitcoin will be held in a multi-signature address as long as your channel stays open. When the channel is closed; the final transaction will be added to the blockchain. “Off-chain” is not a perfect term, but it is used due to the fact that the transfer of ownership is no longer reflected on the blockchain until the channel is closed.
Do I need a constant connection to run a lightning node?
Not necessarily,
Example: A and B have a channel. 1 BTC each. A sends B 0.5 BTC. B sends back 0.25 BTC. Balance should be A = 0.75, B = 1.25. If A gets disconnected, B can publish the first Tx where the balance was A = 0.5 and B = 1.5. If the node B does in fact attempt to cheat by publishing an old state (such as the A=0.5 and B=1.5 state), this cheat can then be detected on-chain and used to steal the cheaters funds, i.e., A can see the closing transaction, notice it's an old one and grab all funds in the channel (A=2, B=0). The time that A has in order to react to the cheating counterparty is given by the CheckLockTimeVerify (CLTV) in the cheating transaction, which is adjustable. So if A foresees that it'll be able to check in about once every 24 hours it'll require that the CLTV is at least that large, if it's once a week then that's fine too. You definitely do not need to be online and watching the chain 24/7, just make sure to check in once in a while before the CLTV expires. Alternatively you can outsource the watch duties, in order to keep the CLTV timeouts low. This can be achieved both with trusted third parties or untrusted ones (watchtowers). In the case of a unilateral close, e.g., you just go offline and never come back, the other endpoint will have to wait for that timeout to expire to get its funds back. So peers might not accept channels with extremely high CLTV timeouts. -- Source
What Are Lightning’s Advantages?
Tiny payments are possible: since fees are proportional to the payment amount, you can pay a fraction of a cent; accounting is even done in thousandths of a satoshi. Payments are settled instantly: the money is sent in the time it takes to cross the network to your destination and back, typically a fraction of a second.
Does Lightning require Segregated Witness?
Yes, but not in theory. You could make a poorer lightning network without it, which has higher risks when establishing channels (you might have to wait a month if things go wrong!), has limited channel lifetime, longer minimum payment expiry times on each hop, is less efficient and has less robust outsourcing. The entire spec as written today assumes segregated witness, as it solves all these problems.
Can I Send Funds From Lightning to a Normal Bitcoin Address?
No, for now. For the first version of the protocol, if you wanted to send a normal bitcoin transaction using your channel, you have to close it, send the funds, then reopen the channel (3 transactions). In future versions, you and your peer would agree to spend out of your lightning channel funds just like a normal bitcoin payment, allowing you to use your lightning wallet like a normal bitcoin wallet.
Can I Make Money Running a Lightning Node?
Not really. Anyone can set up a node, and so it’s a race to the bottom on fees. In practice, we may see the network use a nominal fee and not change very much, which only provides an incremental incentive to route on a node you’re going to use yourself, and not enough to run one merely for fees. Having clients use criteria other than fees (e.g. randomness, diversity) in route selection will also help this.
What is the release date for Lightning on Mainnet?
Lightning is already being tested on the Mainnet Twitter Link but as for a specific date, Jameson Lopp says it best
Would there be any KYC/AML issues with certain nodes?
Nope, because there is no custody ever involved. It's just like forwarding packets. -- Source
What is the delay time for the recipient of a transaction receiving confirmation?
Furthermore, the Lightning Network scales not with the transaction throughput of the underlying blockchain, but with modern data processing and latency limits - payments can be made nearly as quickly as packets can be sent. -- Source

Note that by virtue of the usual benefits of cost-less, instantaneous transactions, lightning will make arbitrage between exchanges much more efficient and thus lead to consistent pricing across exchange that adopt it. -- Source
How do lightning nodes find other lightning nodes?
Stack Exchange Answer
Does every user need to store the state of the complete Lightning Network?
According to Rusty's calculations we should be able to store 1 million nodes in about 100 MB, so that should work even for mobile phones. Beyond that we have some proposals ready to lighten the load on endpoints, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. -- Source
Would I need to download the complete state every time I open the App and make a payment?
No you'd remember the information from the last time you started the app and only sync the differences. This is not yet implemented, but it shouldn't be too hard to get a preliminary protocol working if that turns out to be a problem. -- Source
What needs to happen for the Lightning Network to be deployed and what can I do as a user to help?
Lightning is based on participants in the network running lightning node software that enables them to interact with other nodes. This does not require being a full bitcoin node, but you will have to run "lnd", "eclair", or one of the other node softwares listed above.
All lightning wallets have node software integrated into them, because that is necessary to create payment channels and conduct payments on the network, but you can also intentionally run lnd or similar for public benefit - e.g. you can hold open payment channels or channels with higher volume, than you need for your own transactions. You would be compensated in modest fees by those who transact across your node with multi-hop payments. -- Source
Is there anyway for someone who isn't a developer to meaningfully contribute?
Sure, you can help write up educational material. You can learn and read more about the tech at http://dev.lightning.community/resources. You can test the various desktop and mobile apps out there (Lightning Desktop, Zap, Eclair apps). -- Source
Do I need to be a miner to be a Lightning Network node?
No -- Source
Do I need to run a full Bitcoin node to run a lightning node?
lit doesn't depend on having your own full node -- it automatically connects to full nodes on the network. -- Source
LND uses a light client mode, so it doesn't require a full node. The name of the light client it uses is called neutrino
How does the lightning network stop "Cheating" (Someone broadcasting an old transaction)?
Upon opening a channel, the two endpoints first agree on a reserve value, below which the channel balance may not drop. This is to make sure that both endpoints always have some skin in the game as rustyreddit puts it :-)
For a cheat to become worth it, the opponent has to be absolutely sure that you cannot retaliate against him during the timeout. So he has to make sure you never ever get network connectivity during that time. Having someone else also watching for channel closures and notifying you, or releasing a canned retaliation, makes this even harder for the attacker. This is because if he misjudged you being truly offline you can retaliate by grabbing all of its funds. Spotty connections, DDoS, and similar will not provide the attacker the necessary guarantees to make cheating worthwhile. Any form of uncertainty about your online status acts as a deterrent to the other endpoint. -- Source
How many times would someone need to open and close their lightning channels?
You typically want to have more than one channel open at any given time for redundancy's sake. And we imagine open and close will probably be automated for the most part. In fact we already have a feature in LND called autopilot that can automatically open channels for a user.
Frequency will depend whether the funds are needed on-chain or more useful on LN. -- Source
Will the lightning network reduce BTC Liquidity due to "locking-up" funds in channels?
Stack Exchange Answer
Can the Lightning Network work on any other cryptocurrency? How?
Stack Exchange Answer
When setting up a Lightning Network Node are fees set for the entire node, or each channel when opened?
You don't really set up a "node" in the sense that anyone with more than one channel can automatically be a node and route payments. Fees on LN can be set by the node, and can change dynamically on the network. -- Source
Can Lightning routing fees be changed dynamically, without closing channels?
Yes but it has to be implemented in the Lightning software being used. -- Source
How can you make sure that there will be routes with large enough balances to handle transactions?
You won't have to do anything. With autopilot enabled, it'll automatically open and close channels based on the availability of the network. -- Source
How does the Lightning Network stop flooding nodes (DDoS) with micro transactions? Is this even an issue?

Rebalancing Crypto Portfolio: What is BAT, Brave, PAY & TenX?

I just sold off my entire PAY holdings to buy BAT tokens. My average cost for PAY tokens was around $0.90 and I bought 502 of them (current price is around $0.30). I had around 200 initially but added on another 300 late last year in Dec 2018. The reason is that the company is issuing a 1-to-1 new TenX token for every PAY token you hold. TenX token is a reward token that would be issued out in Q2 2019 and rewards (in the form of PAY) are expected to come in Q3 2019. The snapshot has already happened, meaning that I would receive 502 TenX tokens in a few months time, regardless of whether I sold my PAY tokens or not. You can read more about TenX token from their official blog post.
PAY will be the reward we receive starting from Q3 2019 and the payout will be made every quarterly depending on the company’s financial performance. My cost price for getting 502 PAY is around $458, which means I would need to get around $23 annually for a yield on cost of 5%. I will write a new post about TenX when I receive the new tokens and when the first rewards payout is distributed. Everything will happen in 2019, so stay tuned.
Who is TenX?
TenX is actually a crypto card company and their goal is simply to allow cryptocurrencies to be spent anywhere in the world. Here is actually a video of my first transaction buying Mac in bitcoin a few months back.
The experience was pretty cool, liberating and surreal I would say. You got to try it for yourself. For the first time in history, products and services can be bought with a currency that is not controlled by ANYONE or any intermediary. There won’t be bank bailouts, political issues, government failures, quantitative easing and that sort of stuff. The note in your wallet is basically an IOU, something the bank owes you, but the BTC in your wallet is solely yours and nobody can take it away from you, as long as you keep your private key safe.
We don’t really face all these problems in a first-world developed country, but the people who really need this are those from countries such as Venezuela. The country faces corruption and their notes are denominated in millions due to hyper-inflation. These worthless paper money are being dumped everywhere on the streets. I would not go too in-depth about this and you can read more about the inflationary impact of money from my previous post.
If you are interested, you can order a card from Tenx as the cards are available in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and recently Thailand. They are rolling out the cards in other regions progressively and their banking license in Europe is still in the process of happening. The orders for their Tenx card is insane. They are growing at around 10-15% every week I think.
Reason for Selling PAY Tokens
I sold off my PAY tokens because it was originally a reward token that gives out rewards from the pool of transaction fees when people spend using TenX card to all PAY token holders. However, they run into regulatory issues with this as “Securities Token” is an extremely sensitive topic in the regulatory arena. Hence, the TenX token was created with an added feature known as the ERC-1462. The rationale behind this is simply for compliance reasons; to comply with securities regulations and legal enforceability.
Utility of PAY Tokens
Now that TenX token has replaced the original utility of PAY as a “reward token”, you might ask what’s the function of PAY tokens now. This is a good question and the answer is: “nobody knows yet”. The team behind TenX is currently working on the utility of PAY tokens and no conclusive information is available at the moment. However, some of the possible ideas that were suggested include things like rebate fees, lower transaction fees when spending crypto or other specific uses for TenX services.
Since TenX token has already replaced PAY token as the reward paying coin, then it does not make sense for me to keep PAY tokens anymore. I am more interested in holding and buying the goose rather than keeping the eggs. Unless there is a strong utility function or incentive for me to hold the eggs, I really don’t see the rationale to hold my PAY tokens in the short-term. My investment philosophy in crypto is towards staking and rewards tokens that distribute some form of dividends one way or another. I believe the pool of money would work harder for me if I allocate it somewhere else.
What is Basic Attention Token (BAT) Token?
And where did I put it? I reallocated all my PAY tokens towards BAT tokens. So what is BAT? It’s not some kind of scammy, bs project. I don’t invest for the sake of quick random gains. I am actually grateful for the crypto winter as a “massive cleansing” is needed to drive out all the frauds and shitty projects that fail to make the cut. Those who survived will rebound even more resiliently and I am really looking forward to seeing the progress and adoption coming in. As the saying goes, “I’d rather lose money in crypto and end up being wrong than potentially miss the greatest investment opportunity of our generation.”
In my opinion, there are 2 things that would massively change in the next 5-10 years. One is China and the second is Blockchain. The latter has already become the most commonly discussed topics in World Economic Forums and these large giant monopolies are getting into the game. They have to because technological disruption is inevitable. You see Facebook, Tencent, Samsung, Microsoft, PwC, Deloitte, IBM, Walmart, Maersk, JP Morgan, Fidelity, Bakkt and the list goes on. They are all coming in. It’s only a matter of time. To find out more about institution money in crypto or how I got started, you can read about it in detail from my previous post.
Anyway, let’s cut the chase short.
So what’s BAT? To understand BAT, we must first understand the Brave Browser. BAT and Brave Browser work hand-in-hand and they are both founded by Brendan Eich, the person who created Javascript and Mozilla Firefox. I shall let the father of Javascript do the introduction rather than me writing all about it.
Problems of the Current Advertising Model
Problem #1: Our browsers are filled with countless trackers and Ads that are annoying and invasive. I am sure you have experienced the case where you researched something, and the ads related to what you are reading on started popping up everywhere the next moment. These are all run by trackers and the internet is attempting to build a digital profile about you so that they can sell you stuff.
Problem #2: Publishers are earning pennies. Well-known famous bloggers in Singapore can vouch to this. They don’t earn much from ad revenues on their sites. The problem with our current digital advertising industry is it is run by monopoly companies such as Google Ad sense and Facebook Ads. They take a huge cut of revenue (73%) from the publishers because they can. They have earned monopoly status.
Problem #3: There is a huge load of middlemen and intermediaries between the marketer and publisher. For a single ad unit to pass through to the publisher, it has to go through all these data aggregators, data management platform, data suppliers, analytics, verification and the list goes on. Money is being leaked out to all these central intermediaries and it adds up to a high transaction cost to brand ad campaigns.
Problem #4: Users often use ad blockers and over 600 million users and phones run ad-blocking to block off unwanted annoying ads. The result of this affects advertisers and publishers as their “ads” are not being directed towards users. Targetting is poor and users are ignoring ads.
Problem #5: The whole advertising ecosystem is plagued with frauds, malware, ransom-ware and some marketers are being fooled by bogus websites. There are tons of fraud bots going around the internet and our browser is vulnerable to all these hacks & viruses.
How can Brave & BAT solve the problems?
I will not go too in-depth with the elaborations as this post is meant to document the recent transaction I made on my crypto portfolio. Basically, Brave is a browser that is designed to block off ALL trackers and Ads. This result in a browser that is faster, more secure and more private. The BAT token is a utility token for 3 groups of people: Users, Publishers and Advertisers. Users are being paid with BAT tokens to view ads if they choose to opt-in for the option to view ads. Advertisers are required to purchase BAT tokens to advertise. Publishers are being paid based on the attention time users spent on the sites. Users can choose to make micro-contributions to tip their favourite content creators and websites. Publishers can offer premium content to users and payments can be in the form of BAT tokens. To read more about how the Brave Browser and BAT tokens work, you can read up about it over here.
How does it look like?
Here is an example of using the Brave browser. I have been using Brave for about 1 month and have since replaced Brave as the default browser over Google Chrome. You can see the number of Ads and trackers that are being blocked. Youtube and FB have a ton of all these trackers and ads. It’s really surprising to see the statistics. Not only that, the browser load time is faster, more secure and the best part? You are being PAID to view Ads. I don’t see any reasons not to like Brave. They actually did a test to compare between Chrome, Brave and Firefox. The results are 2x faster in desktop and 2-8x faster on mobile.
It would look something like this, where you can opt-in to receive BAT rewards for viewing Ads. If you don’t want these annoying Ads, you can disable the Brave Rewards function and no ads would pop up on your screen. Unfortunately, Ads are currently not available in Singapore yet, but they will be rolling out to the whole world by end of 2019. Countries such as the US, Canada, UK, France and Germany are already using it now. This feature was just released 3 weeks ago on 25 April 2019. People from these countries have already received their first payout of BAT tokens just from viewing ads on their browsers as of 8 May 2019. I would write a new post on this when ads are available in Singapore. Can’t wait for it.
Are you a Content Creator, Blogger, Youtuber, Website Owner?
If you fit into any of the above categories. Good news for you! Content creators form an integral part of the entire ecosystem and there is a huge opportunity for you to earn BAT tokens in the future. You are being paid for the content that you publish on the web. The more people visit your sites, the more time they spent on your sites, the more revenue you earn from their attention. Essentially, you are being paid by your audience based on the attention they spent on your site rather than relying on menial ad revenues. I would highly recommend that you sign up as a verified publisher on their web page. I have already verified my website. \This is not an affiliate link and I don’t earn any commissions*. It’s really up to you whether you want to be a verified publisher and earn BAT tokens in the future.
Why BAT Tokens?
The reason why I replaced PAY with BAT into my portfolio is because of the following charts which I am about to show you now.
The estimated download for Brave browser on Android is 25 million and an estimated 2 million downloads are being hit every month. The growth and adoption of Brave browser are turning parabolic as you can see from the charts above.
What Drives the Value of BAT Tokens?
Why is that so? The entire value of Brave and BAT comes from the network effect. It’s just like Grab, Uber or Airbnb. The more people use it, the more valuable the company will be. It starts with getting publishers onboard. After which, YouTubers, bloggers and publishers would spread the word out to their thousands and millions of subscribers and followers because they can earn 5 BAT tokens for every active download. There is an incentive for users to use Brave browser because it’s ad-free, faster, more secure and they are being PAID to view ads. This positive loop cycle compounds over time and it would eventually lead to an exponential growth of adoption in a short span of time. Do note that we are just talking about countries like the US, Canada, UK, France and Germany, when ads are available in other regions, especially when it comes to Asia, this thing will explode.
So why does having more people using Brave browser increase the value of BAT tokens? Well, this is because as mentioned earlier, advertisers have to use BAT tokens to advertise. If I told you that there are 500 million users on Brave and your ads are targeted to users based on their profile match and they are willing to view your ads voluntarily because they are being paid to do so, would you be interested in it? Brendan Eich has confirmed that there are 1,300 advertisers on Brave ads which are on the waiting list right now. When the floodgate opens, it would be interesting to see how the market reacts to it.
Dethroning Google’s Ad Business?
If you are vested on Alphabet or Google, this is something you should watch out real close. Their advertising revenue takes up a huge chunk of the group’s total revenue and its recent Q1 2019 earnings have declined due to lower contribution from ads. The switching cost between browsers is practically zero. If a growing number of users, publishers and advertisers are migrating from Google Chrome to Brave Browser, which is already happening now, Google’s advertising business would inevitably take a hit and this is perhaps the essence of what blockchain is all about. To decentralise monopolistic power and transfer them to individual users.
Potential Risks and Competition
The biggest risk just as in any other crypto companies is always regulations. Regulation is always a pain in the ass, for the right reasons. But an overly-regulated country can stifle innovation and development of new technologies. When crypto first took off, regulators couldn’t be bothered as it does not pose a systematic risk to their financial systems. But the technology has grown so fast that it is too big to ignore. Hence, regulators have to play catch up in understanding the benefits and risks of the technology. Tax is another big issue. Because of this time lag between the early adopters and regulators, the whole area is still developing and it’s pretty much in the grey area. It reminds me of the quote by Mahatma Gandhi.
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”
Facebook is rumoured to be launching their own FB coin soon and they have recently removed their ban on cryptocurrency ads. There might be competition from the monopolies if they ever decided to go into crypto. But the good thing is that Brave has already gotten the first-mover advantage.
Using Kyber Swap to swap PAY to BAT
For the above reasons and logical reasoning, I have concluded to myself that PAY has no clear direction on the utility of its tokens (at the moment) and it does not make sense for me to hold them. Furthermore, I am more interested in the TenX tokens (goose) rather than the PAY tokens (eggs). BAT, on the other hand, is showing promising potentials and I can see how value is being derived in the long-term. As such, I have decided to swap ALL my PAY tokens into BAT tokens.
In the past, whenever we want to exchange one altcoin for another, the process would be to transfer your alts into an exchange, sell it for BTC, use that BTC to buy the other alt and transfer them back to your wallet. This whole process incurs gas fees, withdrawal fees, exchange rate fluctuations and the transactions can take hours to be verified if the network is congested. It is slow, inefficient and costly.
Fortunately, Kyber Network has introduced an innovative application tool known as the Kyber Swap. All you have to do is to connect your Metamask and swap your tokens instantly in a decentralized manner. Decentralized meaning that you are exchanging your tokens with the other party directly without going through a middleman such as an exchange. The liquidity providers are usually the market makers, token holders and token projects. The best part? Whenever you are doing a token-to-token swap, Kyber network will process the BEST conversion rate from all the reserves so that the most competitive rate is being carried out.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I can’t guarantee that I made the right choice. After all, I am selling PAY when it’s at its all-time low and buying BAT when it’s near its all-time high. My decision is based on the logical reasoning that I have made. Nevertheless, both TenX and BAT/Brave are equally solid projects which are growing at a rapid pace. I am waiting for TenX to release their TenX tokens by Q2 2019 and ads to be available in Singapore. When TenX tokens are issued out, PAY would probably spike up and all the short-term traders would get in. There is an opportunity to do an arbitrage here, but I wouldn’t take that risk.
I actually received my first payout in BAT when some random stranger decided to tip me. If you are interested in trying out the new Brave browser, here is the download link for it. Do give it a shot, play around with it and if you like it, remember to set the browser as your default.
The loading page is much FASTER and your browser will have ZERO ads and trackers. Furthermore, when ads are available in Singapore, you will be getting PAID to view ads in the future. The payout will be made to you on the 8th of May every month. \There is a referral fee of 5 BAT tokens for every active download (using the browser for at least 30 days)* If you are a blogger or you own a website, do consider this and I would really recommend you to verify your website. It is a potential alternative source of income for yourself. Click here to find out more if you are a content creator.
This is really the next generation of internet browser and it really makes us rethink the way users, advertisers and publishers interact in the digital advertising industry. The current rate of growth is exponential and I do see this taking off in the long-term, so sit tight! Revolution is coming. Keep a lookout for the next post when TenX tokens are distributed and when ads are available in Singapore.

[ Adsense Arbitrage ]: 300$ / day with viral sites!

Start with what you need to get started in Adsense Arbitrage?
It's buying traffic from ad networks (facebook ads, Native advertising) and selling it to google adsense. The concept: and that your adsense income is higher than your advertising expenses. Some think that arbitrage and death is that it's impossible to have a profit with this technique, but they are mistaken personally I managed to reach 5 figures a month with, and I know people who are over 100k each month. There are several factors that people neglect when trying to succeed with adsense arbitrage
1 - choose the niche you want to work on (dogs ,Kitchen , cats, celebrities ...) or you can start a general way does not specialize and after starting and seeing that an article is successful, specializes niche.
-2 hosting for your site and your domain I use the company "I will not remember the name of the fact that some withdraw them, I was promoting the company". But you can search on 5ivehost in google
Everyone will ask me how to accept in Adsense there are two ways:
After purchasing Domain and hosting, install a clear template and create a simple and professional logo on the freelogo website or canva and write exclusive articles non-copy-paste, do more than 30 articles or you can request a service on the site fiverr for $ 5 is write articles,
The second effective method I am currently using is:
You buy a book in English for about $ 3 in your niche. It is advised that the book is a bit new kindle of Amazon and that you copy the articles of the paragraphs of the book as they are and paste them on your site in the form of articles.
I hope the explanation is simplified and understandable.

Executive Summary

This article covers some of the many ways to buy discount gift cards. We focus a lot of attention on Amazon gift cards since they are the largest retailer in the world and has the 2nd most gift cards in circulation. We have either purchased or researched in depth most of the sites on this list to come up with some conclusions about the fastest, safest and cheapest places to buy discount gift cards. Please remember, there is no one best place to find gift cards, the goal is to give you options.
The lowest-risk gift cards with the lowest discounts are directly from that brand and at grocery stores and other retail locations (CVS, Safeway, Walgreens, etc). You will also find these 0% offers from 3rd party e-code generators like eGifter and BitPay. You can usually buy instantly and they are guaranteed forever.
Slightly higher risk are the old-school secondhand gift card exchanges like CardCash, CardPool, Raise and others. They offer very small savings up to 5% off the top brands. You can pay with a credit card and they guarantee the card for up to a full year so you can gift them as gifts much easily.
The highest discounted gift cards are on peer-to-peer bitcoin marketplaces with users from many different countries, like Paxful and LocalBitcoins. This also comes with the most risk and the highest amount of work. These platforms have lower regulation and majority of the trades are conducted in non-USD currency.
Finally, there is an emerging category of crypto gift card exchanges that also use bitcoin to offer the same discounts as peer-to-peer marketplaces, but they have more advanced protections in place for buyers and sellers. Sites like Redeeem and Purse.io fall into this category because they can offer larger discounts on gift cards and other products but they use technology to cut out the negotiating. Cards are guaranteed for minutes, hours or days here, so this isn’t the best for gifting.
Your savings (and profit margins) will depend largely on your risk tolerance, length of time you are willing to get paid, country where you are located, capital available, ability to buy alternative forms of currency (like bitcoin), the ability/willingness to ship physical products, overall time commitment, and many other factors.

1. Buy gift cards on marketplaces

Redeeem. Save 15% or more on bulk Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy gift cards with auction-style pricing buying with bitcoin. They have great support and great reviews.
CardPool. Save 3-5% on hundreds of brands, including Best Buy, Target, iTunes and Lowe’s. They send the card directly to your email inbox or via USPS in 3-7 days.
CardCash. Gift card marketplace that buys unwanted gift cards for less than their value and resells them at a discount to savvy shoppers across the country. Save 3-5% on hundreds of brands, very similar to CardPool.
Gift Card Granny. This is a nice resource because they link to the sites that have the best deals, unfortunately they don’t index many of the bulk discount sites.
Raise. One of the biggest in terms of volume. Discounted gift cards to hundreds of national brands such as Target, Southwest, Uber, Home Depot, etc. However, discounts are minimal here, ranging from 0-3%.
CardCookie. A great site with great potential—currently offering 5-10% discounts but not very high volume yet. Keep them bookmarked.

2. Buy gift cards with bitcoin

Redeeem. Redeeem is a great option for buying Amazon gift cards at 20% discount or higher using bitcoin. Unlike Paxful or LocalBitcoins, they manually validate and guarantee every gift card sold on the platform and have an easier buying experience. But you will have to trade during market hours (they are only open 8 hours a day).
BitPay. Raised over $72 million from investors, they’re the largest bitcoin payment processor. Download the app to buy Amazon e-codes fast at 0% discount.
Paxful. With 300+ currencies to trade, Paxful’s peer-to-peer platform with millions of users in Africa offers likely the best discounts for gift cards, but there are a lot of scammers (and yelling) so be careful. You may find yourself with a lot of stolen/invalid cards and trade disputes with money at risk.
LocalBitcoins. LocalBitcoins lets you buy and sell bitcoin in over 248 countries. Like Paxful, this comes with high risk and high reward. Every trade starts with a listing, similar to Craigslist, and the platform is strictly peer-to-peer.
Purse. Save 10% or more on Amazon when you pay with bitcoin, or dropship products (including gift cards) to people to earn bitcoin.
CardBazaar. An online secondhand gift card marketplace where you can buy and sell unwanted gift cards for cash or bitcoin.
Bidali. A bitcoin payment processor that competes with BitPay and offers full-priced e-codes from Amazon and other retailers.
eGifter. One of the best way to buy eGift cards quickly for friends, family and yourself without hassle. Choose from hundreds of top national brands. You can personalize your gift with an animated greeting card, photo or video greeting.

3. Fill out online surveys for gift cards

Survey Junkie. offers a massive inventory of paid surveys. Each survey is assigned a point value (most between 100-200 points) and estimated completion time. Once you accrue 1,000 points (around $10) you can cash out with a gift card.
Beer Money on Reddit. This a Reddit group dedicated to making some cash on the side. Don’t know much about it.
PointClub Surveys. You can earn points for completing paid online surveys. When you have enough points, you can redeem them for cash or the gift card of your choice. Gift cards can either be digital or real cards sent to you. It's that easy!
OpinionOutpost. You can earn cash and rewards for the time you spend taking online surveys with points you can redeem for cash or gift vouchers to popular brands.

4. Buy directly with people online

Reddit. Reddit is used by a ton of gift card traders, but you have to be familiar with the platform and have some karma on there before using it seriously. Otherwise, your listings will just get filtered out by their algorithms. If you go in there moving quickly without reading their rules carefully you will likely get banned.

5. Buy directly from people offline

Craigslist. As you probably know, you can get anything on Craigslist. But like Paxful and LocalBitcoins, it requires a lot of negotiating and there are scammers galore. The only deals worth doing are small volume with trusted local partners.
Facebook Marketplace. Although this wouldn’t be my first choice due to the randomness, there are a lot of gift cards on Facebook Marketplace—a growing platform.
eBay. Older than time itself, eBay earns millions of dollars a day in gift card volume. They are fairly warm to buying and selling physical gift cards but they are cracking down on e-codes. The downsides here are shipping costs and eBay/PayPal fees which add up to over 10%. There are also a lot of international buyers on eBay taking advantage of currency exchanges, which inflates prices of gift cards above their face value. It’s an expensive place to find gift cards—but always there.

6. Arbitrage gift cards on Amazon

Amazon is unique in a lot of ways. One way in particular is that they let you buy other brands of physical gift cards with your Amazon credit balance—such as Nordstrom, Southwest, Nike, Starbucks, Google Play, iTunes, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Sephora, Hotels.com and dozens more.
This opens the door for people to buy gift cards on Amazon and then sell them to CardCash, CardPool, Raise, Paxful, Reddit, LocalBitcoins, Redeeem, etc. The risk, believe it or not, is that Amazon loves shutting down people’s accounts with gift card balances frozen inside. So don't let your balances get too high and try to mimic normal behavior that doesn’t make you look like a large dropshipping business (e.g. ship to yourself, buy other products too, have a real phone number and billing address on file, etc). There are also hard quantity limits on how many gift cards you can buy for each SKU on Amazon.
Your profit margin will depend on how you get Amazon credits, your ability to keep your Amazon accounts in good health, and the rate at which you sell your cards to gift card marketplaces (some let you choose your own rate, others have fixed rates), and the speed and method you want to get paid (check, ACH, bitcoin, PayPal, etc).

7. Swap other gift cards for Amazon

CardCash Amazon Exchange. This is a cool resource that CardCash built alongside Amazon to allow customers to swap out other national brands for Amazon e-codes for a small fee. The rates are comparable to what they have on the main CardCash website and the e-codes are delivered within 24 hours. It’s a cool way to jump from one brand to another if you want Amazon gift cards in particular and have another.

8. Buy gift cards from retail stores

Retail Stores. There are hundreds of physical retail store locations where you can buy physical gift cards in person (the link points to Amazon retail locations). You pay full retail price but it’s fast, safe and reliable—and you can earn 3-5% cash back with certain credit cards like Amazon Prime card.

9. Earn gift cards for online work

Mechanical Turks. Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) is a crowdsourcing marketplace that makes it easier for individuals and businesses to outsource their processes and jobs. This will require a lot of work, but you can get paid in Amazon gift cards.
Swagbucks. You can redeem a Amazon Gift Cards by using the Swagbucks you earn through playing, searching, discovering, answering, watching or shopping on websites that are trying to sell you things. Not very profitable but can be fun.

10. Daily deals websites

Groupon. Although not as popular as when it first launched in 2009, Groupon is still used by millions of people to get discounts on stores, experiences and even gift cards like Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy. There is also a gift certificate category that has similar offers (sorry, we couldn’t find anything similar on Living Social).
Amazon Daily Deals. Amazon has daily deals on many categories of products as high as 20% discount. On some occasions they will slash prices on gift cards. Amazon Treasure Truck. Amazon has a Treasure Truck that they drive around many of their Whole Foods locations they use to promote Amazon Video shows and offer 10% discount deals on food, clothing and tech.
Gift Cards.me. Simple app, good reviews, worth a try. The discounts aren’t very spectacular, but they claim to have fast gift card delivery.
Nimble Commerce. Not sure how long they’ll be around, but worth a shot.

Bonus Knowledge

On the back of your gift cards, check all the stores where that brand is accepted. For example, gift cards for Gap also work at Old Navy, Banana Republic, Athleta and Piper Lime. Walmart gift cards work at Sam’s Club, Amazon gift cards work at Whole Foods, and Albertsons gift cards work at Safeway, Vons and a dozen other grocery store chains in the same family. Make sure you know these sister-company store policies before you buy a brand.
One limitation you may find with many stores like Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy is that they have per-product purchase limits. Obviously you can create new accounts or ask friends and family to buy products for you, but some products have gift cards under many different SKU numbers—like a Christmas and Birthday version. There are also limits set for each of these individual items, not the gift card category as a whole.
Finally, based on the U.S. government regulations, the maximum amount of gift cards that can be purchased in a 24 hour period by a single person $10,000. So please keep this in mind when you are out there shopping.
Good luck, be honest, and happy trading!

Top 10 Ways to Earn Bitcoin in 2020

Top 10 Ways to Earn Bitcoin in 2020

Back in 2018, the most popular way to earn bitcoin seemed to be through Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). Over $6 billion was raised in Q1 2018 for crypto projects — many with just a white paper and a website. Business was good for founders and investors until the end of 2018 when scammers were the only ones laughing. Most investors lost money, and capital investments into ICO dropped 97%. Companies like TruStory even launched whose sole mission was to stop ICO scams from happening. By Q1 2019, less than $900 million was raised through ICOs —with regulation being the coup de gras.

So where has all the momentum shifted? The second wave of crypto projects will undoubtedly reward profits over potential. This article examines the top ways you can earn bitcoin in 2020 — from faucets and bitcoin mining to crypto savings accounts. The biggest winners of 2020 will likely fall into one of the following 10 categories. The strategy that is right for you will depend on your skills, network, access to capital, location, risk tolerance and investment timeline.

#1 - Holding
https://preview.redd.it/2rvi2izqxby31.png?width=475&format=png&auto=webp&s=5edf45a5cf880916a1cbf3dd3c889b05e27a52be
Arguably the best way to make money on Bitcoin is to buy it and hold it for many years. Smart investors rely on a strategy called Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) to reduce market volatility. This works by investing a fixed amount on a regular schedule, ie $100 once a week for 10 weeks, which helps offset the crypto market volatility. The hard part is being patient with the investment and resisting the urge to daytrade or sell too quickly.

#2 - Lending
https://preview.redd.it/8ejpg84wxby31.png?width=472&format=png&auto=webp&s=984fbb7bb13e6064a8ae1d130d77f3f9fd9c716b
A number of fintech companies like BlockFi and BitBond now offer the ability to earn interest on your crypto holdings. Interest rates range start around 8% and can go as high as 20% for trusted lenders. The interest clients earn typically compounds monthly, although these returns mimic that of the S&P 500 so this is considered a low risk/reward option.

#3 - Day Trading
https://preview.redd.it/i1mqwm80yby31.png?width=471&format=png&auto=webp&s=b9185daf5e28b8160f8b36848b26e34e1b7b8417
A common way to earn Bitcoin trading is through trading cryptocurrencies on exchanges using 1X to as high as 100X leverage. Traders can also bet on the index of any crypto on sites like eToro or Robinhood. Daytraders will trade based on charts and trends, and try to grow their portfolio.
https://preview.redd.it/hxpg8nq7yby31.png?width=469&format=png&auto=webp&s=8441aee2cd8b258ec580faee5820510401372cc9
Another much safer form of arbitrage is dropshipping. You can source products on Amazon or from sites like Oberlo who will help you find the right products to buy. You can build an e-commerce store using Shopify or just sell on eBay. If you have a store and supply chain already, it's easy to start accepting Bitcoin using a payment gateway like CoinPayments or BitPay.
Other peer-to-peer exchanges like Paxful, Purse and Redeeem allow you to trade gift cards and other digital and physical goods for bitcoin.

#4 - Gambling
https://preview.redd.it/fghrvc3cyby31.png?width=473&format=png&auto=webp&s=7ebcc8d3a22c7e07ba7fc1c455a8b22b1f2b88b5
Gambling with Bitcoin is highly addictive, risky, largely unregulated, and offers the biggest and fastest financial volatility. Some popular crypto gambling sites include CloudBet, BetOnline, FortuneJack, Bovada, BetUS and hundreds of others. For more rankings, click here.

#5 - Mining
https://preview.redd.it/h9q7uphpyby31.png?width=471&format=png&auto=webp&s=64c18aeb8fc4bee85f9e1b8275385223f017c825
Despite the fact that over 80% of Bitcoin has already been mined, bitcoin mining is still a $4 billion annual industry. Since mining was intentionally developed to require advanced hardware, it's an expensive process that requires large mining facilities to be profitable. For this reason, most large-scale mining operations are located in China where electricity is cheap.
To be successful, individual miners are forced to join collective mining pools like MinerGate or simply mine as a fun hobby with Coinmine or Homeyminer and not worry about the ROI. To learn more, click here.

#6 - Faucets
https://preview.redd.it/uejcd0ztyby31.png?width=478&format=png&auto=webp&s=de76e9b769582b83af46e78d97616c19945d0474
A faucet is just a website that gives free coins to every visitor for staying on the site or engaging with content. Some examples are Cointiply, FreeBitcoin, SatoshiQuiz and others. Keep in mind, a satoshi represents roughly 0.00000001 bitcoin, so 100 satoshi is about 1 penny. It would take 100 correct trivia answers on SatoshiQuiz to make $1 USD. It's far more profitable to own a Bitcoin faucet and make money on advertisements.

#7 - Services
https://preview.redd.it/2mizr67e0cy31.png?width=483&format=png&auto=webp&s=c698ba3fd2ee210837155a240a65c3002ae049da
There are dozens of job boards online where you can earn bitcoin for a variety of independent contractor services. Many clients on Upwork, Freelancer and other non-crypto platforms will gladly 15% discounts or more if they can pay their freelancers in bitcoin and avoid the costs of the marketplace. Other more dedicated sites are listed below.
Jobs4Bitcoin — Reddit job board for bitcoin tasks
AngelList — Job board for crypto companies and projects
Earn.com — Earn bitcoin while learning about crypto
CryptoGrind — Escrow for bitcoin freelancers
CryptoJobs — Job board for bitcoin freelancers
Coinality — Job board for crypto freelancers
Bitfortip — Earn bitcoin for helping people Indeed — Job board for crypto companies BitWage — HR services for paying in crypto XBTFreelancer — Freelancers get paid in bitcoin

#8 - Exchanges
https://preview.redd.it/v5a0u4iy0cy31.png?width=464&format=png&auto=webp&s=543a50490c066b904fe351cec925d8adcf1a6c22
The simplest and lowest-cost exchange is a Bitcoin ATM. As of January 2019, there were 4,213 Bitcoin or cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide. With many countries like Venezuela, Argentina and Nigeria experiencing hyperinflation, the world's 2.3 billion unbanked people will continue to demand bitcoin and stablecoins as hedges against inflation. The estimated startup costs for a Bitcoin ATM is about $25,000 per location, according to CoinATMRadar.
https://preview.redd.it/xoj4c5c31cy31.png?width=468&format=png&auto=webp&s=bed32024272d9c6e6e8fcdc0e7c53254e91c02e6
Building a crypto exchange or peer-to-peer trading platform will be a more expensive way to earn bitcoin as an exchange. This requires building a website, hosting wallets on the blockchain, building security protocols, creating KYC/AML policies, accepting crypto payments, building two sides of a marketplace, and a little marketing, branding and legal work. Some examples of successful P2P trading platforms are Paxful, Purse and Redeeem.
The fiat to crypto exchanges like Gemini, Coinbase and Kraken usually require venture funding, large engineering teams and banking partnerships for proper custody of the funds. Fiat exchanges also have to register as a Money Services Business (MSB). For a full list of fiat exchanges, click here.

#9 - Affiliate Rewards
https://preview.redd.it/peewibjm1cy31.png?width=475&format=png&auto=webp&s=18f067006e2edfdbae198e14d71ede66bb805dae
Affiliate programs in crypto are endless, and they can come in many different shapes and sizes. Products like Lolli and Pei will reward you with bitcoin cashback everywhere you shop. Exchanges like Changelly will give you a percentage of their fee revenue for referring clients. Wallets like Abra will give you $25 for each signup. The optimal strategy is picking a familiar product that you know and love. For a list of affiliate programs, click here.

#10 - Content
https://preview.redd.it/yh7q5vwv1cy31.png?width=469&format=png&auto=webp&s=ed03d857d94d8c11de63b5cbc21c5e311836fcaa
Bitcoin is King. Content is King. So Bitcoin Content must be God. The ability to research, write and publish high-quality content on Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrencies will be a highly coveted asset in 2020. It's free to start a Medium blog, video blog or podcast and share your ideas to passionate audiences on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit or Quora. Try to build an audience first then turn on AdSense or activate other partnerships to start collecting passive revenue for your content.

How do I pay taxes from bitcoin arbitrage betting?

Say I make like $50 grand in my bovada and some other sites’ wallets (all profit. After being offset by losses. (Multiple sites because “arbitrage betting”)) and want to convert it to bitcoin, then send that to my bank. How would I do this all legally?
Does it matter that online sports betting is illegal in the US? Would I need the “illegal income” form? I’ve heard that running a gambling site is illegal in the us, not necessarily just using one.

The Real Story Of The Repo Market Meltdown, And What It Means For Bitcoin

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 87%. (I'm a bot)
The event doesn't mean another financial meltdown is necessarily imminent-just that the risk of one is heightened-since the brush fire can be doused either by the Fed, or by the banks raising more equity capital.
US Treasuries are the core asset used by every financial institution to satisfy its capital and liquidity requirements-which means that no one really knows how big the hole is at a system-wide level.
Specifically, the Fed's focus on the fed funds market is misplaced because the real action is in the much bigger, much more global repo market; the Fed shouldn't have allowed America's big banks to pay dividends or buy back stock when they're so capital-constrained that they can't even pick up an 8% "Risk-free" arbitrage; the Fed's proclamation that "The financial system remains resilient," when it released the results of the most recent bank stress tests.
At a systemic level, the traditional financial system is as fragile as Bitcoin is anti-fragile.
In stark contrast to the traditional financial system, Bitcoin is not a debt-based system that periodically experiences bank run-like instability.
In this regard, Bitcoin is an insurance policy against financial market instability.

I built an arbitrage system that finds arbitrage opportunities between cryptocurrency exchanges

It took me about 6 months of coding to get where I am now and I'm letting cryptocurrency try it out for free. This is literally the first time I am posting about it to see how people would react to such a system. Currently it is able to find arbitrage opportunities between Binance, Bittrex, Cryptopia, Bitfinex, YoBit, HitBTC, Kraken and Poloniex with many more to come.
It is not like the average arbitrage bots you see mine works by calculating the profit you will make buying on one exchange and selling it on another. It is able to detect which exchanges are doing maintenance on wallets so you dont waste time with false arbitrage opps.
It was able to find a 17% arbitrage opp on Game Credits and I was able to make 15% by purchasing it on Bittrex and selling it on Poloniex 2 days ago. It took me about 7 minutes transfer time. I was also able to buy Bitcoin Gold from Binance and transfer it to Bittrex and sell it for a 20% profit which took me around 30 minutes.
My system is designed to eliminate trading risk by keeping your money out of the market as much as possibles. The purpose is to detect when there is a large price gap between exchanges and capitalize off of it which means get in and get out as fast a you can. The only risk becomes the time it takes to transfer from one exchange to another but the ERC20 tokens transfer pretty fast so it works well with most digital currencies. Also have to be aware of the volume in relation to how much you money you trade with.
I would like to see how many people were able to successfully profit from arbitrage also who would be interested in such a system.
Here is an image of how the system displays the arbitrage opps https://ibb.co/iBWafx and the system can be accessed at Arbiswap.com
----------------------------TRY IT OUT---------------------------------------------------
ATTENTION!!!
Some hater keeps changing the password so I cannot make a test account anymore so it is best everyone create a free trial account and I will make it so the system can be accessed by everyone here at crytocurrency.
It is free to start the trial and will expire in 14 days so make use of it and see if you can find any deals with my system. I suggest you only do ones of 9% or more. Login here http://arbiswap.com/cryptocurrency-arbitrage/ Dont forget to cancel before 2 weeks ends if my system sucks for you.
Keep in mind the system works but you have to be on at the right time to find deals and it updates every 15 minutes. Right now I am working on an alert system which will alert you of the most promising arbitrage opps 9% profit or more on high volume exchanges. Thanks for the amazing feedback I am building this for you guys and it will be limited memberships so work with me and I will with you.
Update: Thank everyone for the support...Email alerts are now active to subscribed members... it checks exchanges every 5 minutes for possible arbitrage opps and when it finds one you will be notified. Anyone can see past alerts on site but they are delayed 3 hours.
Update: here is a medium article I published to try and explain more details about how the system works https://medium.com/@chasarcaulon/presenting-arbiswap-crytocurrency-arbitrage-platform-4dd12b99fd36
